The Dietary Supplement Label Database (DSLD) is intended to capture all information from the labels of products sold as dietary supplements in the United States. The manufacturer or distributor is responsible for this label information, and the Office of Dietary Supplements (ODS) does not check or verify that it conforms to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and legal requirements. Therefore, the DSLD may include some products whose labels do not meet these legal requirements, i.e., the labels might be incomplete and/or inaccurate and the products might contain ingredients of concern to the FDA. FDA maintains a list of ingredients and products of concern. The inclusion of a product and its label in the DSLD is not an endorsement of that product or a guarantee of accuracy by the ODS, National Institutes of Health, FDA, or U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
We welcome your feedback.
You can let us know what you think (or to report an error in the database) by e-mailing ODSComments@mail.nih.gov.
